583,600 orders executed in the B2C business line

Quickborn, 5 March 2010. At the end of February, the total number of customers in the comdirect group stood at 2,144,980 (January: 2,149,960). The number of custody accounts amounted to1,414,355 (January: 1,418,814) and total assets under custody totalled EUR 35.68bn in February (January: EUR 35.29bn).
In the B2C business line (comdirect bank), 583,600 securities orders were executed (January: 662,923). The number of customers in February stood at 1,452,716 (January: 1,451,981). At the end of February, the number of custody accounts amounted to 722,091 (January: 720,835). The number of current accounts rose to 551,287 (January: 543,796) and the number of Tagesgeld PLUS („call money plus?) accounts climbed to 974,584 (January: 968,670). Assets under custody in February amounted to EUR 22.38bn (January: EUR 22.11bn). Of this figure, EUR 13.24bn is attributable to portfolio volume (January: EUR 13.01bn) and EUR 9.14bn to deposit volume (January: EUR 9.10bn).
In the B2B business line (ebase) custody accounts were held for 692,264 customers in February (January: 697,979). Assets under custody in February amounted to EUR 13.30bn (January: EUR 13.18bn).
