AGM approves dividend of ?1.85

Paderborn, January 25, 2010. The shareholders of Wincor Nixdorf AG approved all items on the agenda of today?s Annual General Meeting in Paderborn with substantial majorities. For fiscal 2008/2009, shareholders in the company will receive a dividend payment of ?1.85 per share. This is 13 percent below the dividend of ?2.13 paid out for 2007/2008. The total dividend payout thus amounts to ?58.6 million.
Nearly 400 participants were present at the AGM. The overall shareholder attendance figure at this year?s General Meeting of Shareholders was equivalent to 19.2 million shares (58% of share capital). On the morning prior to the AGM the company had already reported on its performance during the first quarter of fiscal 2009/2010 (see separate press release). Wincor Nixdorf anticipates a further decline in its net sales and operating profit for the fiscal year as a whole, albeit no more severe than in the last fiscal year.
