ANGA COM 2025: Netceed – Driving the Future of Communication Networks with Cutting-Edge Products, Smart Solutions, and Exclusive Industry Insights

Netceed shows further developments and provides exclusive practical insights

16 April 2025 – Netceed, one of the world’s leading suppliers of active and passive components as well as systems for the broadband industry, will present itself as an advanced one-stop shop at ANGA COM 2025. Netceed will also showcase new developments from its network portfolio and provide exclusive insights into its technical expertise, services and – for the first time – its solutions for data centres. From June 3 to 5, 2025, Netceed will join around 23,000 participants from 90 countries at ANGA COM in Hall 8, Stand A50, to explore key topics in broadband and media distribution. Visitors can also look forward to Netceed“s expert contributions in several panel discussions throughout the trade fair.

At this year“s ANGA COM, Netceed will present its comprehensive portfolio of solutions at its trade fair stand. For the first time, the company will introduce a complete data centre solution: the „AI Ready Rack“. Specially designed for AI and other high-performance applications, the rack supports loads of up to 2,000 kg. With a depth of up to 1,400 mm, it offers ample space for servers over 900 mm in length, along with the simultaneous integration of up to four power distribution units (PDUs). Its convenient width allows for easier cabling and maintenance, while the modular design ensures flexible customisation and expansion – whether for cabling, airflow management or the integration of liquid cooling components such as Coolant Distribution Units (CDUs) and manifolds. On site in Cologne, the rack will be operated with a high-performance rear-door cooling system, which uses liquid cooling directly at the rear of the rack to efficiently dissipate heat. This provides a scalable, energy-efficient and low-noise alternative to conventional air conditioning.

In line with the data centre segment, Netceed will also provide insights into its new transceiver portfolio. As a third-party provider, Netceed supplies interoperable and flexible transceivers, compatible with over 100 different vendors (OEMs) and more than 20,000 systems. With data rates ranging from 1G to 800G and extensive stock available across Europe and beyond, Netceed offers a wide range of transceivers with a failure rate of less than 0.02%. Customers benefit from features such as multi-coding, free support and a lifetime replacement guarantee – enabling savings of up to 70% on costs and up to 85% on inventory compared to OEMs.

Another innovation is the updated Microfocus building distributor „FIBO WoWi“, now redesigned as a pre-assembled, plug-and-play solution for cabling at network level 4. The upgrade not only meets current market demands but also anticipates future requirements. Fiber optic overlengths of 10 metres each can be stored for up to 12 residential units. The system is compatible on both ends with pre-assembled in-house fiber optic connection solutions. Blow-in ferrules for 7 mm microduct systems allow for splice-free, straightforward installation – reducing installation costs while enhancing the end customer experience.

A popular highlight will also return to the Netceed stand: the PatchRobot in the outdoor cabinet enables remote and automated customer connections and OTDR measurements, eliminating the need for individual on-site visits. This not only significantly reduces network operating costs but also helps operators achieve their ESG goals by making network operations more sustainable. Depending on the location, the use of a PatchRobot and the resulting decrease in service trips can save over 3,400 kg of COe per year – equivalent to the annual CO absorption of approximately 175 fully grown trees.

In addition to these highlights, Netceed will showcase a broad range of familiar, optimised and new solutions in fiber optic infrastructure, points of presence (including the opportunity to explore selected PoPs in VR), hybrid fiber coax (HFC), and live demonstrations of test and measurement technology, splicing and blowing equipment.

Panel talk from the perspective of a system integrator: Insights into implementing DAA

Speaker Hanno Telgen, Head of Product and Project Management at Netceed, will share exclusive insights into the introduction and implementation of Distributed Access Architecture (DAA) from a system integrator’s perspective on Tuesday, June 3, from 11:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in Room 2. His presentation, „Lessons Learned from Implementing DAA: Insights from a System Integrator“s Perspective“, will be part of the panel discussion „Network Operation: Operation of VHC Networks“. Telgen will explore various expansion scenarios, their pros and cons, and other key learnings gained from years of experience in DAA deployment.

Adapting Digital Infrastructure to Support HPC and AI

In another presentation, Geoff Buddington, SVP Data Centre EMEA at Netceed, will offer exclusive insights into optimising digital infrastructure in his talk, „Adapting Digital Infrastructure to Support HPC and Artificial Intelligence“. This presentation is part of the panel discussion „AI: Transformation in Network Operation“ on Tuesday, June 3, from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. in Room 2. Developments such as high-performance computing (HPC) and artificial intelligence (AI) present significant challenges for data centres, particularly in implementing high-speed network solutions like InfiniBand, as well as in the areas of energy-efficient cooling systems and modular power supplies.

ESG panel talk: Netceed drives sustainable standards in the FTTH industry

As part of the panel „Beyond Compliance: How Reporting Standards Drive Sustainable Innovation“, taking place on June 4 from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. in Room 2, Netceed will share its expertise on decarbonising the FTTH value chain. Patty van Broekhoven, Sustainability Manager at Netceed, will join industry, network operation and service partners to discuss the importance of standardised ESG reporting – placing a particular focus on Scope 3 emissions.

Beyond significantly reducing CO emissions, Netceed“s holistic ESG strategy includes a strong DEI policy to promote diversity, introduced in 2022, along with robust ESG governance based on eight established guidelines. With environmentally conscious product design, a range of repair and refurbishment services and close collaboration with suppliers, Netceed is setting new standards in the industry. The panel will highlight how ESG efforts not only ensure compliance but also open the door to real innovation.
